Muhammad Ali Jinnah:

Jinnah completed his education in England, and he was a very qualified barrister. He had also worked at the Bombay High Court. Jinnah also helped in the Lucknow Pact in 1916. 

Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto:

The great leader was also the president of Pakistan from 1971 to 1973. He contributed a lot to the country when he chaired the Pakistan People’s Party. His reign also witnessed the formation of Bangladesh as well as the signing of the Simla Agreement.

Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Bacha Khan):

Bacha Khan was even nicknamed as “Frontier Gandhi” in British India. Later he founded the Khudai Khidmatgar (“Servants of God”) movement in 1929, which triggered a remarkable crackdown by the British Empire against all his supporters. After some time, they suffered severe repression of the Indian independence movement. Abdul Ghaffar Khan was strongly against All-India Muslim League’s demand for Indian partition.

Nawaz Sharif:

Nawaz Sharif is one of the most influential leaders of all time in Pakistan. He was the only politician and leader who has served as a prime minister of Pakistan for more than 9 years across 3 tenures. He literally took control of devastated Pakistan after Asif Ali Zardari. The great leader contributed a lot to boost economic and developmental projects and made nuclear weapons and energy projects one of his top priorities. After he took control, he introduced cheap transport commonly known as Metro bus service.

He saved the economy of Pakistan from the brink of catastrophe. In fact, GDP growth rate was highest in his era and unemployment and inflation was all-time low. 

Not only that, but he also worked dedicatedly to strengthen the relations of Pakistan with European countries and Russia as well as established policies of peace and cooperation with India. He also established National Action Plan that allowed Army to conduct operations in Waziristan for making it a terrorist-free place.

Benazir Bhutto:

Who isn’t aware of the most influential leader of Pakistan Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto? She was the daughter of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who was the 9th Prime Minister of Pakistan. The great lady contributed a lot to the country and was then killed in a suicide blast. 

She was also the first woman in a Muslim majority nation that successfully led a democratic government. When she got assassinated, she was only 54. Her sudden death has been revered by many as an icon for women’s rights.

Imran Khan:

Imran Khan is the former Prime Minister of Pakistan who served proudly from 2018 to 2022. During his period, he has done a lot to make the country a safe and prosperous place to live. 

He is the founder and chairman of the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He was a former cricketer before entering politics. He was a popular international cricketer who led Pakistan to the first-ever Cricket World Cup in 1992. This means he is not only excellent in politics but also cricket.

Altaf Hussain:

  • Date of Birth = 17th September, 1953
  • Birthplace = Karachi

Altaf Hussain started his political journey in 1978 during his university days. After great efforts and dedication, he founded his own political party called Muttahida Qaumi Movement that fights and protects the rights of Muhajir community. He is a Pakistani and British national politician who has been operating his party from London.

In 1986 right after the Aligarh Colony Massacre, MQM protested against it and eventually his party saw a great rise and became hero among the Urdu speaking middle class community of Karachi, Pakistan. Moreover, in 1988 elections, his party won plenty of seats in the national assembly and emerged as the third biggest political party of Pakistan after such great win.
