In 2023, Behen founded Gramercy Group, a boutique investment advisory firm specializing in value add real estate and portfolio management. Through Gramercy Group, he has managed, transacted, or facilitated the exchange of approximately 30 million dollars in real estate investment portfolios on behalf of a diverse client base. His firm oversees assets across the full investment lifecycle from acquisition and restructuring to stabilization and exit bringing an operators discipline to capital stewardship.

Beyond his professional and political work, Behen is deeply engaged in his community. He is a member of both the Freemasons and Kiwanis, organizations dedicated to service, leadership, and civic responsibility. He also serves on the boards of Fields of Grace, a nonprofit focused on food security, and Cascade Web Solutions, reflecting his commitment to both community welfare and local economic development.
